Wmo - What to do

The goal of support is that you can continue to live as independently as possible and participate in society. The municipality works with you to find a solution. Sometimes this means that you yourself change something in your situation. In other cases, you will receive help from the municipality (Wmo).

How do you get support?

You will first look for a solution yourself. This may include help from family, roommates, friends or acquaintances. There are also many support options in our municipality that can help you further.

Do you think help from the municipality is needed? If so, you can report this to the municipality.

I need help

To determine what kind of help is best for you, contact the municipality. This is called making a "notification" of your (help) request. You can do this easily using the notification form below. The municipality will look at possible support with you.

I filed a report. How to proceed now?

  1. Currently in progress: Step 1: Personal interview

If necessary, a Wmo customer director from the municipality will contact you to make an appointment for a personal interview. This can be at a location of your choosing. You may always bring someone along to the interview, for example a family member, social worker or client supporter. During the interview, together we look at your question and what support is appropriate. We also look at what you can do yourself, or what your family or environment can do for you. Together we look for a solution that suits you. For more information see the kitchen table consultation.

  2. Currently in progress: Step 2: After the interview

' After the interview, a report is made and sent to your home. This report will state whether a customized service is possible for you.

' You can respond to the report. In your response, you can indicate whether you want to make an application.

' Within 2 weeks you will receive a letter (decision) telling you what support you can get from the municipality.

  3. Currently in progress: Step 3: Arranging support

The municipality informs the care provider or resource supplier. You can also arrange your own support with the municipality's budget (pgb).

  4. Currently in progress: Step 4: own contribution

For various forms of Health and support, you pay part of the cost yourself, the co-payment. The co-payment is collected by the CAK (Central Administration Office).

More information on this can be found on the co-payment page.

Who is the Wmo intended for?

How do we handle privacy?

Privacy plays an important role in the relationship between citizens and the government and is therefore high on the administrative agenda. All stakeholders must be able to trust that the municipality will handle the collection, storage and management of personal data of citizens in a careful and secure, proportionate and confidential manner. This applies to tasks in basic administration, public order and security, and the social domain, among others.
