Own contribution

For various forms of Health and support, you pay part of the cost yourself, the co-payment. The co-payment is collected by the CAK (Central Administration Office).

How high will the co-payment be?

A personal contribution is charged for the Wmo customized facility provided as ZINHealth in kind) or PGB. This is charged for, among other things:

  • guidance,
  • household assistance,
  • mobility scooter,
  • stair elevator,
  • woningaanpassingen (ook voor personen <18 jaar).

The CAK will collect this. The personal contribution for the protected living function is still income-related. The CAK determines the amount. The CAK calculates exactly what you will have to pay.

What is not subject to a co-payment?

Some facilities do not require you to pay a co-payment, such as wheelchair facilities and collective transportation. For more information about the co-payment, go to the CAK website.

There remains a safety net

You may be able to apply for reimbursement for the additional costs. This reimbursement is part of special assistance. To receive special assistance, a person must meet a number of Requirements . Each situation is considered individually by the municipality. A resident who expects to qualify for the special assistance may apply to the municipality.
