Working together for the future

In the municipality of Leudal, we want everyone to be able to participate. Also in the field of work and income. The MensOntwikkelBedrijf (MOB) guides vulnerable residents and those entitled to benefits into suitable work.

At the MOB, the person is at the center. That is the starting point. In addition, we see work as much more than just having a job. The value of work translates into independence and development opportunities in addition to having one's own income. It also provides structure and leads to more social contacts. And work makes people proud, it leads to self-reliance and with it a meaningful contribution to society.

The MOB ensures that these people gain more knowledge, experience and skills so that they become work fit (again). This is done through various activities and projects. Examples include maintaining benches in public spaces, managing parks or refurbishing bicycles.

Of course, they do this with the guidance of job coaches and the municipality's client directors. Thus, at the MOB, participants find (renewed) confidence and gain a vision of the future. In their work, participants feel valued, which contributes to their personal well-being.
