What facilities are there?
General facilities
General facilities are low-threshold facilities that are accessible to everyone. You can use these without having an indication or contacting the municipality. There are several general facilities, namely:
- Municipal facilities (such as welfare, general social work or shelter facilities).
- Commercial facilities (such as meal services and shopping services).
- Volunteer initiatives (such as a handyman service, eating point or living room project).
The municipality assists in arranging and organizing these general facilities. When referring to general facilities, a role can be played by the general practitioner or district nurse, for example.
