Job coaching external

Job coaching is aimed at supporting residents with a distance to the labor market towards employment. Job coaching is deployed by the client director and is always customized and aims to find and keep suitable work. Together with the employer and employee, the job coach determines the goals to be achieved. During the process, the client director maintains contact with the job coach and evaluates the progress and effectiveness.

For whom

  • Residents with an obligation to reintegrate
  • Non-benefit recipients with questions about work or education

Duration

The job coaching program lasts 6 months with a possible extension of up to 6 months. The follow-up phase lasts a maximum of 3 months.

Result

The goal is to guide the participant to suitable work and to retain that work.

Content

A job coach helps with such things as:

  • Inclusion
  • Performing (custom) tasks,
  • Organizing work and keeping an overview,
  • Communication in the workplace,
  • Collaboration with colleagues,
  • Learning new actions or skills,
  • Dealing with change,
  • Making (difficult) things negotiable.

Support may include

Coaching the participant to work and in the workplace itself, creating the right Requirements so that the work can be done properly. This may include organizational and/or physical adjustments to the workplace. 

We can also help think about applying job carving if necessary. Furthermore, we maintain contact with relevant organizations and appropriate instruments are used in the context of additional support in maintaining the workplace. 

During the three-month follow-up phase, the participant and employer are monitored and supported.
