Work Development Program

An employment development program is aimed at developing skills and behaviors necessary to move on to work or a work-study program. The client director uses this when someone has potential, but is not yet fit for work. Together with the route counsellor, work is done on employee skills, motivation and self-confidence. The client director monitors the results and makes adjustments where necessary.
For whom
- Residents with an obligation to reintegrate
- Non-benefit recipients with questions about work or education
Duration
The labor development program lasts 3 months with a 6-week orientation phase.
Result
Maximum participation and orientation in the labor market. This is preferably paid work but can also be unpaid work.
Content
After a joint intake with the resident, the route counsellor and the client director, a development plan is drawn up. This contains clear goals with an appropriate approach. The first 6 weeks are intended as an orientation phase. In this phase, we determine together the follow-up trajectory based on employee skills.
We start with work, either externally or within our own learning work offer. We look at what someone can do, what talents there are, and what skills still need attention.
Support may include
Support is always customized and can include conversations about positive
health, career testing and resume building.
Every 2 weeks we discuss the progress. Where necessary, we adjust the course in consultation. We work towards outflow in cooperation with the Werkgeversservicepunt. Afterwards, the client director receives an evaluation form with advice for a possible follow-up program. This can be an internal MOB product or an external one.
