Energy Savings Brigade

The municipality of Leudal helps residents with advice and concrete measures to reduce energy consumption. In cooperation with the MensOntwikkelBedrijf (MOB) and Leudal Energie, the Energiebespaar Brigade (energy-saving brigade) has been set up.

Before the Klusbus comes by, an energy explorer visits first. He discusses the possibilities for saving energy and whether the Klusbus can actually help.

Handyman energy-saving brigade

The Klusbus is there to do small energy-saving measures in the home. Examples include installing radiator foil, installing LED lights, door closers, draft strips and the like. This saves a household directly on energy consumption. Both the advice, the work done and materials are free. 

The Energy Savings Brigade

The Klusbus is staffed by employees of the MensOntwikkelBedrijf (MOB). The MensOntwikkelBedrijf helps people with a distance to the labor market to find a regular job. The Klusbus is a nice step for the Energy Saving Brigade to gain work experience.
