City Council

What does the Leudal municipal council do?
The municipal council is the voice of Leudal. The council consists of 25 council members who are elected every four years by you and other eligible voters from Leudal. Together, they determine what is important for the municipality and keep a close eye on the mayor and aldermen.
Three important tasks
Currently working on: Representing your voice
Council members bring up issues that are important to Leudal. They listen to residents and take their ideas and concerns into account when making decisions.
Still to do: Mark out the lines
The council determines the guidelines and points of attention. These include good Health the elderly, sufficient sports facilities, and pleasant places to live. The municipal executive then elaborates these plans.
Currently working on: Checking that everything is going well
Has the agreed policy actually been implemented? And is this being done properly and within budget? The city council checks this and makes adjustments if necessary.
