Day of Mantel Care
Appreciation of their efforts helps informal caregivers to sustain their support tasks. The municipality of Leudal considers the work of informal caregivers very important and valuable. That is why the municipality has various forms of appreciation, including the Day of Mantel Care.
This is an annual event on November 10, where throughout the Netherlands informal caregivers receive recognition and appreciation. In the municipality of Leudal, activities are organized by Steunpunt Mantelzorg Leudal in cooperation with residents, associations, local sponsors and organizations. A festive day to recognize and appreciate volunteer caregivers.
