The Municipality of Leudal is offering two new grants

This involves a grant for the construction of affordable housing (the Built Environment Restructuring Grant Program) and a grant for the demolition of former industrial buildings. Property owners and project developers may submit an application for these grants to the municipality.

Grant Program for the Restructuring of the Built Environment: To Build Affordable Housing

Do you own a property in the municipality of Leudal and are you planning to build affordable housing there? If so, you may be eligible for the subsidy program for the restructuring of built-up areas. The subsidy is intended to support projects that would otherwise be difficult to finance. 

The subsidy can be used to cover demolition costs, studies, and other development expenses up to the point where the project becomes unprofitable. Depending on the type of dwelling, the subsidy ranges from €15,000 to €30,000 per dwelling. There is a maximum of €500,000 per project.

Grant Program for the Restructuring of the Built Environment

Grant Program for the Demolition of Former Industrial Buildings

In addition, the municipality has a subsidy program for the demolition of former commercial buildings. Through this program, the municipality aims to remove vacant or outdated commercial buildings where business operations have ceased and the business license has been revoked. In this way, the municipality seeks to contribute to a cleaner and more attractive rural area.

The grant amounts to:

• €35 per square meter for buildings scheduled for demolition
• €7.50 per square meter for pavement removal

A maximum grant of €50,000 may be awarded per location.
