Work on Rijksweg and Beegderweg in Horn | 27 Nov - 19 Dec 2025
Soon BAM/Holland Drilling will start work on behalf of Enexis on the Rijksweg and the Beegderweg in Horn.
Bores will be drilled with tubes that will have to be welded together on site where the cables will be pulled in at a later stage.
This necessitates the temporary closure of a section of State Road and Beegderweg in Horn.
Planning
Work will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2025, and last through Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. Preparatory work will take place from November 27 through Monday, December 01, 2025. No roads will be closed at this time.
The work involving road closures will be carried out in 2 phases.
Phase 1: from Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025 through Dec. 9, 2025.
Phase 2: from Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025 through Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025.
On Friday, Dec. 19, cleanup will take place; this will no longer require roads to be closed.
Accessibility
Road sections will need to be closed during the implementation of Phase 1 and Phase 2 work.
The roads closed for each phase are indicated below, namely:
- Phase 1 from December 02, 2025 to December 09, 2025:
- Establish a one-way on the Rijksweg in Horn between Maaslandstraat and the Haelerweg/Beegderweg traffic circle. This will leave the road open in the direction from Maaslandstraat to Haelerweg.
- Establish a one-way on the Beegderweg in Horn between the traffic circle and the entrance of KSV Horn. This will leave the road open in the direction from the traffic circle towards Beegden.
- Phase 2 from Dec. 10 to Dec. 18, 2025:
- Establish a one-way on the Rijksweg in Horn between Maaslandstraat and the traffic circle Haelerweg/Beegderweg. This will leave the road open in the direction from Maaslandstraat to the Haelerweg/Beegderweg traffic circle.
- Establish a one-way on the Rijksweg in Horn from Dorpstraat to the ramp to the N280. The road will remain open in the direction from the Roermondseweg to the traffic circle Haelerweg/Beegderweg. During the execution of this phase, the Rijksweg near Dorpstraat will also be closed for 2 days.
A detour route will be established for both phases. A detour will also be established for cyclists/moped riders.
Arriva
Arriva will operate via a detour during the work in Horn.
