Grant Regulation of Events
Events ensure social cohesion, thus maintaining the livability in the cores of the municipality of Leudal. Active associations and involved residents play an important role in this.
The Event Subsidy Scheme focuses on events organized in the nuclei of Leudal and distinguishes between small, medium and large events.
An event is defined as a special, time- and place-related event, deliberately planned by an initiator and aimed at a particular target group in order to achieve a particular goal using a deliberately chosen form.

Please read the subsidy regulations carefully before starting your application. In the subsidy regulations, among other things, you can view the subsidy conditions for each component.
For whom is this scheme intended?
The scheme is intended for organizers of events taking place in Leudal or aimed primarily at Leudal residents.
When can you submit an application?
You must apply for a grant at least 6 weeks before the event takes place.
What activities can you apply for a grant for?
Grants can be applied for three different components:
- Your event contributes to:
- Social cohesion within a core (small event) or
- The connection of multiple cores (medium event) or
The identity of the municipality of Leudal as a whole (big event).
You may receive an additional grant if your event contributes to municipal goals in the areas of Sports & Health, Arts & Culture, or Recreation & Tourism.
- A grant can be applied for the organization of popular festivals such as St. Nicholas parades and King's Day celebrations.
- A grant can be applied for the organization of a commemoration of the dead.
- Events that do not take place in Leudal, but do contribute to the above municipal policy objectives.
