Presentation Olaf Vugts: "What is the mushroom of Leudal?"

Last Monday, the more than 60 attendees were taken into the world of the Efteling. 

Former park, marketing and creative director Olaf Vugts showed us how the Efteling thinks in detail about serving its target group. But also that this is not only applicable to very large theme parks, but that anyone can easily apply it in their own business.

Look through the eyes of your target audience, put yourself in your customer's mind. Don't do what you like, but what your visitor likes. Create special moments, leave a (very) good first impression - because you can only make that once - and think carefully: am I customer-oriented? That customer appreciation will come naturally.

It also inspired us (Municipality of Leudal) and our own promotional platform "Love for Leudal. As Olaf asked, "What is the mushroom of Leudal?"

Indeed, the most photographed spot in the Efteling is in the Spookjesbos near the famous red and white mushroom. After almost 75 years the most iconic spot of the park, a place that for a lot of people evokes a (often) beautiful association with the Efteling. For everyone with their own story, with memories of family and friends and with thoughts going back to your childhood. How beautiful is it if we manage to create our own mushroom in Leudal?
