Seeing - Reporting - Tracking

  1. Currently Busy: Seeing

Together we can do more than alone, this also applies to public spaces.
Is something broken on the street or in your neighborhood, do you see litter or notice a nuisance?

  2. Completed: Reporting

Then make a report in the BuitenBeter app.
In a few simple steps, you immediately provide all the necessary information about the report to the municipality. Add photos so we can help you faster and better!

  3. Currently in progress: Tracking

Your report comes to us immediately and we can get to work.
In the app, you can keep track of the status of your report.

Note: Don't forget to give special permission for this:

  • In the BuitenBeter app: turn on slider via settings.
  • On the website: click on green bar.

If you do not, but you do have the report number, you can also track your report via the BuitenBeter app or the Leudal Municipality website.

How do we assess your report?

The municipality of Leudal has opted for image quality B. This means that for every report we look at whether the reported situation fits within this image quality.

  • Does the situation of the report not fit quality B?

    • So are we not achieving the agreed quality?
    • Then we will provide a solution so that the image quality is good again.
  • Does the situation of the report fit image quality B?

    • So are we meeting the agreed-upon quality?
    • Then we take no action because the image quality remains good enough.

Perhaps it would be good to explain this with an example;
The trash cans are emptied according to a set route. But suppose you report that a trash can in the park needs to be emptied.

  • Is the bin still not full because it is less than 80% full?

    • Then we don't empty the bin (yet).
  • Is the bin nearly full or completely full (more than 80% full)?

    • Then we'll empty the trash can.

The illustration below explains the 5 levels of image quality (A+, A, B, C and D) and the fill level of the bin from the example.

Furniture: bin-filling rate

Five pictures of bins (A+, A, B, C and D) are shown, each with a different fill rate (percentage of the bin filled).

  • A+: Waste bin is empty
    • fill rate 0% per bin
  • A: Garbage can is less than half full.
    • fill rate ≤ 40% per bin
  • B: Garbage can is not full.
    • fill rate ≤ 80% per bin
  • C: Garbage can is nearly full.
    • fill rate ≤ 100% per bin
  • D: Garbage can is full.
    • fill rate > 100% per bin

Why is reporting so important?

You are the ears and eyes in our Public Space. By making a report, you contribute to a nice and livable Leudal. We also work together with the police to have the most complete picture possible of nuisance situations in the Public Space of Leudal. With your report you help us conduct targeted investigations to keep the villages safe and livable together.

What you cannot report

  • Nuisance from others' trees

This is a private law issue that you have to resolve with your neighbors yourself (more information: bomenstichting.nl). The municipality cannot do anything about this. You can use legal aid or neighborhood mediation

  • Back paths/firebreaks (e.g., reports on greenery, paving, fences)

This land is almost always owned by a private homeowner or housing association (rental properties). You seek a solution with them yourself; the municipality cannot help with this.

  • Clogged sewer on private property

A clog in your home or in the sewer system on your own property is something you have to solve yourself; you cannot turn to the municipality for this. There are companies that specialize in this and can help you. Look for more information on the page Sewer clogging

Need immediate action?

Is it necessary to take immediate action? For example, is there a dangerous situation for you or your surroundings and the town hall is closed at that time? Call the police central number 0900 - 88 44.
