A wolf was recently spotted in the outskirts of Haler, near the border with Belgium. We believe it is important to inform residents, business owners, and visitors about this. Wolves are naturally shy and avoid humans. Nevertheless, we ask everyone to remain vigilant and be mindful of the presence of this animal.

What can you do?

  • Stay calm and keep your distance if you see a wolf (at least 100 meters)
  • Do not chase the animal or feed it
  • Keep dogs on a leash in rural areas
  • Give the wolf room to leave
