Digital Residence Register

In the Digital Residence Register, companies and institutions in the municipality of Leudal register persons who are (temporarily) staying in or on their company. For designated companies and institutions, the Digital Residence Register is mandatory.

Why mandatory?

By keeping the register timely and correctly, you help the municipality and emergency services:

  • That way, when needed, we can see at a glance how many and which people are staying with you.
  • The municipality is notified automatically when a person stays with you for more than 12 weeks and when a person leaves your home. This way we can easily check whether someone needs to be registered in or deregistered from the basic registration of persons.
  • We can better monitor permit holders for residency compliance.

Benefits for the entrepreneur

The residence register also offers you benefits: 

  • The data is stored in clear graphs. This allows you to see where your guests come from, what the occupancy rate is and what peak times there are. This can help you in your marketing efforts.
  • You can very easily send the residence tax data to the BsGW*.
  • Your guests can enter their own data even before arrival via a link or on site via a QR code. Upon arrival, you only need to check the passport or identity card.
  • You have an up-to-date view of guests at your location anytime, anywhere.

* There is no digital link with the BsGW. You still have to send in the residence tax manually.

Supervision

Residence providers will receive a letter about the Residence Register in 2025. (Go to the Digital Residence Registry Letter page if you have received a letter). The letter will include a date for an informational meeting and an explanation of the supervision of maintaining the register. The supervisor will visit you after you receive a letter. During the supervisor's first visit, there is room for questions and explanations. The supervision is carried out in phases. Therefore, not all companies will receive a letter at the same time. If you have not yet received a letter, you will receive one in the course of 2025.
