Contacting the City Council
If you wish to address the entire council you may do so through the Municipal Clerk’s Office, if you wish to address a single council or committee member you can do so through their Leudal email address. The e-mail addresses of the council members can be found on the City Council Composition page. Should you wish to reach a committee member, their email addresses can be found on the page of the relevant committee.
Letter to council
Should you wish to send a letter to the council, you should address it to the council and send it to the Municipal Clerk’s Office at raadsgriffie@leudal.nl. In your letter, you can explain your position or request, such as about an issue in your neighborhood. The Municipal Clerk’s Office s Office will forward your letter to the council. The council may then choose to make a motion or amendment in response to your letter. In this way, you can make a difference in politics.
Speaking Rights
If you see an agenda item that you would like to comment on during a committee meeting, please contact the Municipal Clerk’s Office. The email must contain at least your name, telephone number, and email address so that we can contact you. You must also indicate which agenda item you would like to speak about and the topic you would like to discuss. If your request is accepted, you will be given a maximum of 5 minutes to speak at the relevant committee meeting.
If you cannot be physically present, you can also send your speech to the Municipal Clerk’s Office , which will treat it as a speech at the meeting. This way you can still express your opinion even if you are absent.
