Client Satisfaction with the Wmo Is on the Rise

This is an old post.

In early 2026, a client experience survey regarding the Social Support Act (Wmo) was conducted in Leudal, covering the previous year. The survey results provide insight into how residents experience the support and services provided under the Wmo, particularly in the areas of self-reliance and participation.

89% satisfaction rate

The results of the Wmo 2025 client experience survey are overwhelmingly positive. Compared to 2024, significant increases were observed in a number of areas. For example, satisfaction with the quality of support rose from 83% to 89%. In addition, 90% feel that the support provided is well-aligned with their needs. Self-reliance has also increased to 88% (86% in 2024). Satisfaction with transportation provided by Omnibuzz has risen to 84%, compared to 74% the previous year.

Areas for Improvement

There are also some (minor) areas for improvement, such as making the options for informal care support more accessible (from 47% to 26%). In addition, both satisfaction with housing accommodations and awareness of the independent client support specialist have seen a slight decline of 3%. Other areas of concern include the quality of housekeeping services and wait times.

High response rate

A total of 823 residents were invited to participate in the survey. Of those, 287 residents took part. At 35%, this is a high response rate, and the results are therefore representative. The survey was conducted by an independent research and consulting firm. Conducting this client experience survey is required by law.
