Soil survey delivery

In some cases it is necessary to submit an environmental soil survey to the municipality of Leudal. Examples include Requirements for (environmental) permits or a proposed change of plan. It is also possible that a consultancy firm is commissioned by the municipality to conduct a soil survey.

What are you supplying?

From January 1, 2024, municipal governments will be the competent authority for many soil matters. The soil investigation data are entered into a soil information system (BIS) after evaluation. To keep the BIS up-to-date, it is very important that the soil data supplied are digitally good and complete. Therefore, a minimum data set has been agreed upon for digital delivery.

  • One PDF file per survey (searchable);
  • One shapefile (file name .shp) of the project site per survey;
  • One XML file per survey in the SIKB0101 exchange format version 14.0.0 - 14.6.0.(highest version possible).

General requirements for the XML file

The XML file must meet the following requirements in order to register the data uniformly in the soil information system and make it easily findable:

  1. The XML file technically has the current SIKB0101 exchange format 14.0.0 to 14.6.0. Files created with an older version than version 13.5.0 cannot be read.
  2. Provide one XML file for each soil survey performed. Analyses performed in the field are included as analyses. For example, pH and Ec measurements.
  3. The XML file contains the data from the basic SIKB dataset in addition to the data listed below:

Report data

  • Report name: type of investigation + street + house number + place name with company or site name if applicable. E.g. exploratory soil survey at Lopikerweg Oost 64 in Lopik (Verweij Lopik BV)
  • Type of research
  • Rationale, conclusion and follow-up
  • Name of consulting firm
  • Report Number
  • Report date
  • Name laboratory

Monitoring point data

  • Bore name
  • Bore type
  • Bottom layer
  • End depth of drilling in meters
  • Groundwater level in meters
  • Filter: -filter name and filter depth (depth top and depth bottom in meters minus ground level * (m-mv))
  • X and Y coordinates

Sample data

  • Field sample (complete)
  • Analysis sample (complete)
  • Name of (mixed) sample
  • Sample type (soil/sediment/asphalt/paving)
  • (mixing)Sample composition
  • (mixing) Sample depth (depth top and depth bottom in m-mv)

Analysis data

  • Component
  • Analysis result
  • Unit analysis result
  • Reference value (measurement value, detection limit, etc.)
  • Analysis date

Field Conclusion Bureau (assesorConclusion).

The report's integral conclusion is adopted here.

Geometry measuring point / borehole

The geometry of the measurement point (with X and Y coordinates).

Linking mixed samples to georeferenced monitoring points

For all mixing samples, all analytical results are linked to the field samples from which the mixing sample was composed. This also applies to asbestos.

The contour of the study area

Geographic contour of the study area (with X and Y coordinates). Note: In the case of a sewer or road alignment, the contour consists only of the boundaries of the sewer or road alignment. This prevents adjacent residences and/or land from being unfairly included in the study.

How to deliver to

You provide the information through the permit application file (DSO).
