41 Roggel entrepreneurs immediately signed on to a new entrepreneurial adventure!

On Monday, September 22, over 60 entrepreneurs from Roggel gathered to say YES to a new entrepreneurs' association. Led by Johan Schomaker of Platform De Nieuwe Winkelstraat (DNWS), it was explained why an association of entrepreneurs can be useful. These include advocacy, networking and cooperation, knowledge sharing, cost savings and purchasing advantages, profiling and promotion and the social impact.

So a business association is useful not only for lobbying and benefit, but also for togetherness and visibility. Alderman Michel Graef underlined the importance and encouraged attendees to join the business association. At the end of the evening, 41 attendees indicated they wanted to become members, a fantastic result.

Over the next few weeks, a select group will work to further shape the association. The aim is to be able to present the plans for 2026 as soon as possible. The Municipality of Leudal is going to help the entrepreneurs with this, because cooperation is essential. This provides opportunities and possibilities and stimulates the local economy.

Here's to a vibrant, entrepreneurial Roggel!
