Healthcare Boulevard

In Leudal, everyone should be able to participate. Providing appropriate Health to residents plays an important role in this. We focus on well-being, health and that everyone can participate in our society in their own way. In addition, we have an eye for the quality of Health. With the development of the Healthcare Boulevard we ensure that residents continue to find the entrance to appropriate support and Health locally. All this in one central place where residents can go with their healthcare needs. But also just walk in for a cup of coffee.

What do we mean by a Healthcare Boulevard?

Together with participating Health and community organizations, we focus on encouraging resident participation, well-being and health. In doing so, we provide a low-threshold drop-in point to which residents can turn with questions about health, illness, social and community aspects without referral.

The intention is to bring these parties together in one physical location in our municipality. On the one hand to encourage mutual cooperation, on the other hand to increase accessibility and accessibility for residents.

Where are we now?

Currently in progress: December 2025 / February 2026
The design, costs, and feasibility will be submitted to the municipal council for a decision. The decision will be made during the council meeting on February 10, 2026.
Completed: September /November 2025
The design study is translated into a cost overview and rental prices for the organizations involved.
Completed: July /August 2025
Feasibility and design study for the property at 40 St. Anthony Street in Heythuysen are being researched and prepared.
Completed: April /June 2025
The total package of wishes and requirements then forms input for the architect to prepare an initial spatial concept design.
Completion date: February /March 2025
Discussions with involved organizations about collaboration and functional needs and requirements for housing.
Completed: Jan. 22, 2025
The participating parties signed the Healthcare Boulevard Manifesto. The manifesto lays down basic agreements on powerful and sustainable cooperation with the resident at the center.
Completed: March 19, 2024
Leudal City Council provided a preparation appropriation to investigate and map the possibilities for a Healthcare Boulevard .

Location

After an initial orientation on the vacant school building at Graaf van Loonlaan in Heythuysen, the former Rabobank office at Sint Antoniusstraat 40 in Heythuysen recently came into the picture. That building is currently for rent and could be an option for the Healthcare Boulevard Boulevard site based on functional requirements, lead times and financial aspects.
