Case Study: Growing Without Losing Yourself
The market is changing, and entrepreneurs are faced with the question of how their companies can take the next step. The goal is to build on their current services and grow into larger and more complex projects.
That may sound simple: taking on larger projects. In practice, however, it requires much more. What does growth mean for the organization, employees, processes, and way of working? Which responsibilities need to be restructured? And how do you Health , at the same time, ensure that you preserve what makes the company strong: its culture, personal commitment, and focus on the customer?
This involves a familiar entrepreneurial dilemma. The company is doing well. Existing customers provide revenue, work, and continuity. As a result, there is no immediate need to do things differently tomorrow. But that very fact can lead to the decisions necessary for the future being continually postponed.
Based on this case study, we will examine two propositions:
Proposition 1 – Growth and Organization
If your company wants to take on significantly larger projects, you can't keep working the way you always have.
What does growth require of your organization? When should you adjust processes, redistribute responsibilities, or professionalize your operations? And how do you prevent professionalization from coming at the expense of entrepreneurship and individuality?
Thesis 2 – Success and Change
Today's success is the biggest obstacle to tomorrow's growth.
When should you make a change? Only when it's necessary, or even when things are still going well? And how do you prevent existing revenue and customers from leaving you with insufficient time and attention to grow your business?
From Growth to Customer Value
In addition to the question of how you can take on larger projects, we’ll explore the question of what added value you can offer as an entrepreneur.
After all, growth isn't just about bigger projects or higher revenue. The interesting question is:
As a company, what do you need to add so that a larger project for the client actually delivers more value?
In doing so, we look not only at the scope of the project, but above all at the added value of the services we provide. This includes taking the burden off your shoulders, project management, creativity, quality, customer experience, or handling an entire project from start to finish.
Feedback
At the end of the discussion, we ask each table to formulate one specific recommendation:
If we were in your shoes tomorrow, we would...
In this way, each table not only sparks an interesting discussion, but also provides concrete insights or advice that the entrepreneur can use to move forward.
At the same time, the case study offers each participant the opportunity to reflect on their own business:
What does growth require of my organization? And what changes might I be putting off simply because things are going well right now?
This is how we come together to get to the heart of Leudal Business:
Doing business, learning, and growing together.
