Why were the website and online services temporarily unavailable?
The website and online services were temporarily unavailable due to a global security vulnerability in PHP. PHP is a programming language used to build websites. Our provider took the systems offline as a precautionary measure, following advice from the Information Security Service (IBD) and the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
Safety comes first
The security breach has been addressed, and the systems have undergone extensive testing. Once it was clear that the systems were secure, the website and online services were restored. The security of your data is our top priority!
Not a hack or an attack
The Leudal municipality website has not been hacked. Nor was there an attack on our systems. We temporarily took the website and online services offline as a precaution. You can safely use our website and online services again.
