Advance Notice: Roadwork on the N279 between Roggel and Heythuysen

From week 23 through week 29 (June 1, 2026, through July 19), KWS Infra Eindhoven will be carrying out work on the N279 between kilometer markers 1.83 and 7.85 near Roggel and Heythuysen, on behalf of the Province of Limburg. The work will take place from the Roggel roundabout to just past the railroad tracks near Heythuysen. KWS will replace the top layer of asphaltandinstall a speed bump near Roggel. To minimize disruption, KWS will carry out this work in four phases. 

Phase 3, in particular—originally scheduled for June 17–24, 2026—will have a significant impact on access to City Hall, as the entrance to the parking lot will be closed during this time. The Traffic Team will notify you, as a resident, of the alternative route to City Hall in due course.

Because the construction work will affect residents living directly along the N279 and other residents of Roggel and Heythuysen, KWS is organizing an information session to explain the details of the work and how it will affect access to the area.
