Regio Deal Grant Makes "Roggel Bruist" Plans Possible
Together with the Roggel Bruist Foundation, the municipality of Leudal submitted a grant application to the Midden-Limburg Regional Deal. It has since been confirmed that the municipality will receive €529,300 to work on improving the quality of life in Roggel. This will give residents, organizations, and business owners in Roggel the opportunity to work together to shape and implement these initiatives.
Roggel: Ready for the Future
The Roggel Bruist Foundation has developed a plan to improve the quality of life. The Municipality of Leudal has embraced this plan and is using it as the basis for a grant application to the Regio Deal.
Together with and drawing on the input of residents, organizations, and business owners, we are building the strength needed to create a future-proof and inclusive community in Roggel. With financial support from the Midden-Limburg Regional Deal, the province of Limburg, and facilitation from the municipality of Leudal, we can make our vision a reality.
The Power of the Village
The strength of the village lies with its residents. They know better than anyone what their village needs. With this contribution, we’re giving residents the opportunity to bring their ideas to life and make a difference together. This is how we’re building a strong Roggel, now and in the future. As a municipality, we’re happy to support this initiative, because strong villages are built when residents are given the space to take the lead together.
The grant will be used to organize meetings, carry out initiatives, and implement plans aimed at improving quality of life, with support from the Buurkracht Foundation. The project will run through the end of 2028.
The Regional Deal
The national government, the Province of Limburg, and seven municipalities in Central Limburg—including Leudal—are working together on initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being of our region: making it a pleasant place to live, work, and do business. This collaboration is coordinated by the Meer Midden-Limburg regional office.
