Risk Factory Limburg-Noord invites seniors to its new "Healthy and Safe" Days

They can sign up on their own or with a partner, friend, or small group. Following a successful first edition, seniors once again have the opportunity to work on their safety, health, and independence in an accessible way.

It’s just a really fun and educational afternoon: you get out of the house for a bit, you actually learn something, and it’s also a lot of fun. I thought it was absolutely fantastic, and if anyone asks me to go again, I’ll say yes right away!

Learning by doing

At the Risk Factory, visitors experience realistic scenarios that teach them how to manage risks in everyday life. This includes recognizing digital scams, evacuating safely in the event of a fire, and coping with extreme weather, such as summer heat. Topics such as fall prevention and loneliness are also covered. 
By experiencing situations firsthand, information sticks better. This helps seniors make choices in their daily lives with greater confidence.

Educational and social

The "Vitaal en Veilig" Days are more than just informative—they’re also a social experience. Seniors meet other visitors, share experiences, and take a moment to relax over a cup of coffee or tea. This creates a relaxed atmosphere where learning and socializing come together.

Practical information

The "Vitaal en Veilig" Days will take place from Tuesday, June 23, through Wednesday, July 1, at Risk Factory Limburg-Noord in Venlo. A visit lasts approximately three hours and consists of four different scenarios.
