Publication of the priority list for transportation capacity for housing and education projects
The Leudal Municipal Executive recently adopted the policy guidelines for applications for priority transportation capacity
Based on the established policy guidelines, the municipality has assessed which housing and educational facility projects are eligible for the “Apply Early” process. The municipality has drawn up a priority list for this purpose. This list specifies the order in which the projects will be submitted to the utility provider Enexis. View the priority list here.
Opinion
Applicants may submit their comments regarding their position on the ranking list through September 28, 2026.
What happens after October 1?
Between October 1 and 23, the municipality must submit the projects to Enexis. This will take place in several time slots. The time slot in which a project is submitted is linked to the year in which construction is expected to begin. More information about the “Early Application” procedure starting October 1, 2026, can be found on the website of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG), under“Early Application Procedure October 2026 | VNG.”
After submission, Enexis reviews the applications. The transmission system operator determines, based on the applicable rules and available transmission capacity, whether and when a project is eligible for transmission capacity.
Please note: A spot on the municipal waiting list or submitting an application through the “Apply Early” process does not guarantee that transmission capacity will become available. Furthermore, the order on the municipal list does not provide any certainty regarding the date on which a project can be connected.
