Parking of caravans and campers
What is it?
If you want to park your caravan, camper van, motorhome, trailer or folding trailer on the public road, it is allowed for 5 days.
If you want to park longer, request a waiver from the municipality.
A waiver is granted for up to 10 days.
How does it work?
You will receive the waiver under the following Requirements:
- You don't take up too much parking space.
- The streetscape won't get any worse.
- The municipality will designate a parking spot for you.
- It poses no inconvenience or danger to road users and those living nearby.
What to do.
You request the waiver from the municipality. Please provide the following information with your application:
- your name and address
- the period you want to park
- Why you want to park your caravan, camper, motorhome, trailer or folding trailer on public roads
- a description or picture of your vehicle
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the waiver.
Objecting
Do you disagree with the municipality's decision? Then you can object within 6 weeks.
