Old Limburg Shooting Festival
The Oud Limburgs Schuttersfeest is the folk festival of Limburg: an annual celebration that brings together some 150 marksmen from Belgian and Dutch Limburg. This celebration has the status of national intangible cultural heritage in both Belgium and the Netherlands. The OLS attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and is truly an experience to be experienced.
OLS festival in Heythuysen
On Saturday, July 13, 2024 the winning shot was fired by Schutterij St. Nicolaas from Heythuysen. This brought the organization of the OLS 2025 to Heythuysen.
A separate Foundation OLS Heitse 2025 is now busy preparing for this fantastic event. Supported by the municipality of Leudal and the OLS Federation.
The OLS will take place at Sportpark Molenhoek.
Program
The OLS event consists of several activities. The main dates are:

- June 28, 2025 - Sponsor Shooting
- July 4, 2025 - Evening of celebration
- July 5, 2025 - Holy Mass
- July 6, 2025 - OLS
- July 9, 2025 - Volunteer Night
- July 12, 2025 - Plot round

Organizing an OLS can only succeed with the cooperation of the entire community. And with many volunteers. That comes together in the slogan"SAME TO UM!". Rolling up your sleeves together, working together.
