Development phases MensOntwikkelBedrijf

The MensOntwikkelBedrijf aims to work with participants on their development in order to increase their chances of gainful employment. We do this together with local entrepreneurs and organizations.

Together, we establish a development path consisting of a number of phases.

Development phases 1 to 4

Our participants' development process is divided into 4 phases.

  1. Completed: Development Phase 1: Getting acquainted

During this phase, a number of activities are organized to get back into the work rhythm. The participant goes to work "together" at an internal development site. Work fitness is worked on first.

  2. Completed: Development phase 2: Getting used to work

Next, gaining practical experience is an important part of the development process. In this phase, the participant moves from an internal development place to an external place. Together with the participant, the job coaches of the MensOntwikkelBedrijf look for a work experience placement. This can be with a volunteer organization or a trial placement with a regular employer.

  3. Completed: Development Phase 3: Workplace development

During this phase, the final direction is determined. We look for a workplace where there are exit opportunities and that fits the participant's vocational aspirations. A connection is also sought with the participant's education, work experience and, if possible, wishes.

At this stage, we look for companies in Leudal that have room for our participants. Should training be necessary to reach the goal of a paid job, it will be followed. The pace of work in business compared to a work experience placement is often higher. Therefore, a work experience program is a good preparation for the ultimate goal; outflow to a paid job.

  4. Completed: Development Phase 4: Work fit and applying for a job

In this phase, participants' learned skills should lead to a paid job. Together with the participant, we examine what support he/she needs in applying for a job. Workshops are organized in which candidates learn to make a good resume, "read" a job posting and conduct a job interview.

Together with the participants, we look at how to expand their network. We actively "match" local employers with the participants and work with the Employers Service Point (WSP) and employment agencies to achieve paid employment. Participants are supervised by a job coach during and after any placement with an employer.

Custom

The entire program is customized, tailored to the participant's work experience, abilities and wishes. Participation in a development program is not without obligation, full cooperation is expected from the participant. In short: 'Working together for the future'.
