Doing Business in Leudal
During this meeting, the new Alderman , Michel Graef, will present the vision for Leudal. What decisions have been made, and what do they mean in practical terms for business owners in our municipality?
We will then discuss these issues. In an interactive panel discussion, we will explore together what is needed to keep Leudal strong and future-proof:
- How can we strengthen the business climate in Leudal?
- What does this require of business owners and the municipality?
- How do we remain attractive to both existing and new businesses?
- What conditions are necessary to enable sustainable business practices?
The panel consists of Rob Huijten (BASF), Mathijs Joosten (Boscafé de Busjop), John Nouwen (De Eierhoeve BV), and Martijn van Helvert (MKB Limburg). The session will be chaired by Luuk Venner.

What happens to you, your team, and your organization when the pressure mounts and the plan no longer works? “Under pressure, you don’t fall back on what you know, but on who you are.” This applies to military personnel on a mission, to participants in challenging television shows, and just as much to entrepreneurs who bear daily responsibility for their employees, customers, and organization.
Wouter Bruins and Marc Smeets of Ruygh Academy take you on a journey through a story about leadership, ownership, and mental resilience. With their backgrounds in the military, education, entrepreneurship, and well-known TV shows like Kamp Van Koningsbrugge and No Way Back VIPS, they know better than anyone what it takes to perform under pressure and get teams moving. Don’t expect a standard lecture, but rather an energetic and thought-provoking keynote that inspires you to take action—as an entrepreneur and as a person. With one central question:
“Who are you as a leader, colleague, or entrepreneur when the pressure mounts and the plan no longer works?”
