Going into nature reserve
What is it?
You may not just enter a nature reserve with a car, motorcycle, moped, bicycle or horse. To do so, you need an exemption from the municipality.
You do not need to apply for a waiver if you:
- want to drive on public roads in the nature reserve
- lives in the area
- Ensures management and maintenance of the area
How does it work?
The municipality determines whether you get the exemption. The municipality thus wants to prevent damage to the environment or nature. It also prevents inconvenience to other visitors, such as hikers.
What to do.
You request the exemption from the municipality. When doing so, please provide the following information:
- Why you want to go into the nature reserve with your vehicle or horse;
- Which natural area you want to go into;
- The date and time you want to enter the area;
- During which period you intend to use the permit;
- Which vehicle you want to enter the nature reserve with (including license plate number).
To do so, contact the municipality by phone with the Spatial Management team (at 0475 85 90 00) or send an e-mail to info@leudal.nl and provide the requested information.
What do I need?
- your valid ID
How long does it take?
You will be notified within 8 weeks whether you will receive the waiver.
Objecting
