Defense Ministry Military Exercise, October 5–15
A military exercise organized by the Ministry of Defense is scheduled to take place in the Municipality of Leudal from October 5 through 15, 2026. During this period, residents may encounter military activities. We ask that you refrain from interfering with the military personnel while they are carrying out their duties.
The exercise is being conducted as part of the education and training program for members of the Dutch Armed Forces. In practical terms, this means that the service members will carry out missions using vehicles and on foot. They will move along existing infrastructure and/or through forested areas. These activities will take place during the day, in the evening, and at night. Further details regarding the content and locations of the exercise may not be disclosed.

In the event that military personnel participating in exercises cause damage, we ask that you report the damage through the same website. Please include specific details, such as the vehicle’s license plate number, the date and time, the location, and the nature of the damage. The Claims Section of the Ministry of Defense will investigate the damage further and, if applicable, provide compensation.
