Good Landlord Act hotline

The Good Landlord Act sets rules about renting out a home or residence. There is a tenant hotline in every municipality. Tenants and house seekers can report here or ask a question if they have an unpleasant experience with their landlord or rental agent.

The report could include discrimination and harassment, failure to offer a written contract, overcharging for service charges or a sudden change in rental terms.

This can be done anonymously, but then we cannot contact the complainant to discuss the complaint. Therefore, we prefer to have contact information, at least a phone number or e-mail address. A supervisor will then contact us. We do not pass the name of the person making the complaint on to the landlord or anyone else.

You may also report to the front desk of the town hall (Leudalplein 1 in Heythuysen).
