More residents of Limburg can use Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg
Residents with an income of up to 100% of the social minimum can now apply for Dal Vrij Limburg themselves through a new online portal.
Most residents receiving Social assistance benefit already Social assistance benefit able to sign up for the program, and many are already taking advantage of it. They received a letter from their municipality, which allowed them to apply for Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg. To date, more than 27,000 passes have been requested by Limburg residents receiving Social assistance benefit. - Starting June 29, residents of the municipality of Maastricht will be able to use the digital service portal.
- Starting July 14, the service desk will open for the remaining municipalities in Limburg.

The application must be accompanied by a digital income assessment

Collaboration with Qii
The income assessment and the online portal are managed by Qii, an organization that specializes in this area. Qii reviews the applications on behalf of the Province of Limburg and Arriva. The income data is not shared with the Province of Limburg or Arriva and is used solely for this assessment.
Free travel during off-peak hours
With Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg, low-income residents of Limburg can travel for free during off-peak hours on Arriva buses and trains in Limburg. On weekends and holidays, Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg is valid all day.
On weekdays, the Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg fare applies outside of rush hour:
- from 12:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- from 9:00 a.m. to midnight
The program helps people travel more easily and participate in society. Arriva administers the program on behalf of the Province of Limburg.
