Ribbon Race 2025
City poet Frits Criens wrote a King's Day poem:
King's Day 2025
For our newly decorated
The key of your citizenship: major
On you our society can rest
You give it luster and color with your commitment
Keeps it from boredom and drudgery
By contributing to the quality of life here
As a citizen of Leudal highly regarded
Are you a silent but great ambassador
For your municipality, without fading
So for you on this day of days
This feast has a cheerfully solemn tenor
Entirely at the pleasure of the King
Are you knighted, Leudal feels rich
And shows it with much appreciation
With this welcome as a worthy crowning achievement
Frits Criens
City Poet of Leudal Municipality
