What is it?
If you know someone in your area who deserves a ribbon, please nominate that person.
How does it work?
Most royal honors are awarded during the "rain of ribbons. The rain of ribbons takes place annually on the last working day before King's Day. If you wish to nominate someone for the 2026 rain of ribbons, you must submit the proposal no later than June 1, 2025.
If it is an interim award, you must submit the decoration proposal to the mayor no later than 5 months before the desired presentation date.
