Royal award, ribbon
What is it?
If you know someone in your area who deserves a ribbon, please nominate that person.
How does it work?
Most royal honors are awarded during the "lintjesregen" (honors ceremony). The honors ceremony takes place annually on the last working day before King's Day. If you would like to nominate someone for the 2027 honors ceremony, you must submit your proposal by June 1, 2026, at the latest.
If it is an interim award, you must submit the decoration proposal to the mayor no later than 5 months before the desired presentation date.
