Heijer Child Care Center in Ittervoort Officially Opened
The Heijer Child Care Center in Ittervoort officially opened on Thursday, October 1. The opening took place in the presence of children, residents, staff, and representatives from the SPOLT school board, Hoera Child Care Centers, the Bibliocenter Foundation, and the municipality of Leudal.

The Children's Center has space for an elementary school, daycare, after-school care, a library, and a gym.
Contemporary Education
The new school offers a modern, sustainable, and inspiring learning environment, with space for contemporary education, collaboration, and social interaction. It features bright classrooms, flexible learning spaces equipped with modern technology, and green outdoor areas. High-quality education and the development of children’s talents are central to the school’s mission.
Collaboration
Alderman Ilona Mathijsen (Education) appreciates the joint efforts of recent years: “This building is the result of constructive collaboration among the partners. Our community has thus gained a Children’s Center with a fully equipped library and gym. It is an investment in our children and, therefore, in a vibrant future for our municipality.”
With the opening of the Heijer Children's Center, Ittervoort—as well as Neeritter, Haler, and Hunsel—now has a central location that invites children to learn, discover, and grow.
