Home Test
The municipality of Leudal offers the Home Test to all residents of the municipality. This is done in cooperation with Stichting Wonen Leudal, the housing corporations and Synthese (welfare organization).
The Home Test from Mijn Huis Op Maat is useful for anyone who wants to make his or her home safe, comfortable and sustainable. With this test, you can check your home for possible areas for improvement so you can continue living there as long as possible.
The test can be completed online on the Mijnhuisopmaat website or together with a volunteer through a home visit. After completing the test, the resident receives a housing advice report with all points of improvement and concrete solutions listed. With this he or she can get to work.
How do I take the home test?
You can take the Home Test yourself online on the My Home on Measure website. With this test, you check for yourself whether your home still meets your needs in terms of convenience, comfort, safety and health.
You can then download and print your housing advice report yourself. This contains possible solutions with a corresponding cost indication, appropriate to your personal situation.
You can also have the Home Test performed at your home by an expert volunteer from Stichting Wonen Leudal. Request this via the website, by telephone via the general telephone number of the municipality(0475 - 85 90 00) or fill out the reply card and send it to the return address. The volunteer of Stichting Wonen Leudal will contact you to set a date, after which during the home visit we will check with you what improvements are possible in your home. After the volunteer has processed the outcome of the home visit, you will be sent the advice. The volunteer will contact you after a few weeks to see if you have any questions.
I have a rental property
Do you want to modify your home as a result of the housing advice? Then, before adapting your home, seek advice from your landlord. He or she can inform you about the general ground rules that apply to modifying a rental property. Your landlord can also go over your wishes with you and discuss the costs and possible consequences for the rent.
I have an owner-occupied house
You may be able to make the adjustments yourself. If this is not possible, you will find a list of specialized companies familiar with the Home Test on the My Home on Measure website.
