Requesting or changing a house number

What is it?

If you have bought or rented a new house and you do not know what your house number is, ask the municipality. You also do this if you need an additional house number because you are splitting your property.

What to do.

  • You can request your house number from the municipality.
  • If you are going to build a new house, remodel your house or split your house, you also need an (additional) house number. If so, you make the application (for a new house number) with the application for an environmental permit or a residential division permit.
