The MOB works for... the municipality

To stimulate career development and meaningful participation, the MensOntwikkelbedrijf (MOB) also tackles practical issues. These include repairing or refurbishing benches or designing and building insect hotels. Recently, wooden Christmas trees were also made.

Technically skilled

MOB participants are often technically skilled or interested in technology. That is why, in addition to outdoor work in green spaces, the MOB also takes on repair and maintenance assignments. For example, the wooden benches in Leudal's public spaces are structurally maintained. Participants with extensive technical knowledge are given the opportunity to conceive, design, and actually build insect hotels or tree planters, for example.

Bats

Last year, owl boxes were again built for the Leudal Owl Working Group, and a bat hotel was constructed, which is now located in Hunsel. Through this work, MOB participants make a useful contribution to society. This positive experience stimulates their work ethic, enabling participants to grow in their professional development and motivating them to take the step towards regular employment.

Working together for the future

The MensOntwikkelBedrijf guides vulnerable residents and benefit recipients to suitable work. This is done in cooperation with local companies and organizations. Because in Leudal, everyone should be able to participate. The MOB is located at Graaf van Loonlaan 2a in Heythuysen.
