Buying or renting municipal land
Would you like to use a piece of municipal land and add it to your garden, for example? In the municipality of Leudal it is possible, under Requirements , to buy, rent or get on loan a plot of land (e.g. a residual strip) near your home.
The municipal executive has adopted a policy document on the sale of residual strips of land, effective as of 2026. This document indicates that a cautious approach will be taken to the sale of residual strips of land in town centers. The municipality often needs the available land for its own purposes. We must also keep public land available as much as possible for potential grid upgrades related to the energy transition. Please be aware, therefore, that your application may be rejected.
Please feel free to submit a request using the request form below.
