Providing information to local residents of an event
The organizer of an event must notify local residents in writing within five working days prior to the event. This involves providing information about the event to local residents within an approximate 100-meter radius of the event location.
The letter should include:
- cell phone number of the organizer;
- type of music being performed;
- maximum noise level;
- start and end times of the event;
- phone number of the Regional Implementation Service Limburg-Noord (RUD-LN).
Local residents can contact the event organizer with questions and/or complaints.
Noise nuisance? Report it to RUD-LN.
If the organizer/organization does not adjust the noise level, the RUD-LN can be contacted by telephone . The RUD-LN can also be reached outside office hours via the municipality's central telephone number(0475 - 85 90 00). Via a call forwarding, you can then dial RUD-LN.
