Subsidy scheme for village platforms

A village platform is an organization that actively promotes livability within one of the cores in Leudal. The village platform comes from the community and is there for the community. The village platform is a connector, booster and facilitator of activities and initiatives that contribute to livability. 

Village platforms can apply for an annual subsidy from the municipality. One village platform per Leudal core is eligible for this subsidy.

For whom is this scheme intended? 

The scheme is intended for village platforms based in the municipality of Leudal. 

When can you submit an application?

You must apply for a grant by May 1 of the year preceding the grant year. For the year 2022 (grant applications for the year 2023), the application date has been extended once to July 1. 

What amounts will be made available? 

A maximum grant of €2,000 is available per village platform. 

What activities can you apply for a grant for? 

You can apply for a grant for two topics: 

  1. The general organizational expenses of your village platform.
  2. For activities that you carry out for the benefit of the community and enhance the livability of the core. Think of activities such as placing a Christmas tree or flower towers, or preparing inspiration books.

What documents do I need to apply for a grant?

When submitting an application, the following documents should be attached: 

  • Budget;
  • Activity Plan;
  • Overview of the composition of the board and theme working groups under the village platform.
