Administration and Resources Committee
The Governance and Resources Committee is chaired by council member S. Backus. The council's Governance and Resources Committee advises and deliberates on the following topics, among others:

- Administrative relations
- Fire, police and medical assistance at accidents and disasters
- Public order and safety (flood protection), neighborhood prevention
- Communications
- Personnel and organization, operations
- National cooperation Vereniging Nederlandse Gemeenten, Vereniging Limburgse Gemeenten, joint arrangements
- Immigration policy, Asylum seeker center Baexem
- Dualization
- International cooperation (twinning, Euregio)
- Enforcement
- Hospitality and fairs
- Finance and tax burden

Citizens have the opportunity to speak on council proposals only at committee meetings and not at council meetings as well.
