What is a waiver?
Waiver means that you do not have to pay all or part of the municipal taxes and fees.

What to do.
After receiving the assessment notice, you can apply for a remission form via My BsGW on the BsGW website. This will be sent to you by mail. You must then return the form fully completed with all requested attachments.

- proof of your assets
- proof of your debts
Additional information
It is possible that you may receive automatic remission of your municipal taxes. Ask the municipality if you qualify for this. As long as your income does not change, you will not have to pay taxes in subsequent years. And you do not have to apply for relief every year.
If you have temporarily insufficient funds and do not qualify for remission, you can check with the municipality to see if a payment plan is possible.
