Audit Committee
The audit committee is chaired by Councilman Peter van Melick. The audit committee is specifically tasked with:
- Promoting an efficient and effective audit;
- Conducting coordination consultations on the various control activities of the City Council, the College and the Court of Audit;
- Making proposals to the City Council for the appointment of the auditor and preparing any tender procedures in that regard;
- Making proposals to the City Council for the auditor's audit protocol to be adopted annually;
- evaluating the performance of the auditor.
