Installing an antenna or satellite dish
What is it?
If you want to install an antenna or satellite dish, in some cases you need an environmental permit from the municipality. Check via Omgevingsloket whether this applies to you.
Directly arrange
How does it work?
You do not need to apply for an environmental permit if you meet the following Requirements:
- You place the antenna at the back of your home.
- If you put an antenna on the front of your home, the antenna remains behind the front facade.
- The satellite dish is maximum 3 meters high (measured from the base). And the diameter is a maximum of 2 meters.
- Another antenna is a maximum height of 5 meters (measured from the base). If this antenna is attached to the facade, measure from the point where the antenna (with antenna support) crosses the roof.
What to do.
- Check through the Environmental Counter to see if you need to apply for an environmental permit.
- If you need a permit, you can submit the application online immediately.
No permit, but rules
If you do not need a permit to place a (dish) antenna, you sometimes still have to comply with other rules. Think of the rules for safe and healthy building and the rules in the environmental plan.
