General information environmental factors
Environmental factors have a major impact on the spatial quality of an area and are therefore also an important topic in the Omgevingswet. These are the environmental factors of air quality (particulate matter, odor and nitrogen), noise, soil, radiation and environmental safety (formerly external safety). These factors are important for healthy and safe living.
Environmental Quality
In general, the current environmental quality in the municipality of Leudal can be called good and acceptable. This is evident from the Atlas Leefomgeving (air quality), the municipal soil quality and odor maps, reference measurements of background ambient noise and the Register of External Safety, among others.
Nuisance reports
Nevertheless, the municipality of Leudal regularly has to deal with nuisance reports. This is also the reason that for odor and noise there are currently already local area-specific policy rules in place, which are stricter than the national regulations.
