Leudal Social Domain Advisory Council

The Advisory Council Social Domain Leudal is an official advisory body established by the Municipal Executive of the Municipality of Leudal. This advisory council includes representatives of organizations active in our municipality in the social domain.

The advisory council deals with the topics of Social Support Act (Wmo), Participation Work and Income and Youth Care.

The advisory council contributes ideas on topics, advises (solicited and unsolicited) the municipal government and checks whether agreements are also observed and implemented. It pays special attention to people who occupy a vulnerable position in society. It can be about socio-economic vulnerability (poverty policy, benefits), accessibility (physical and mental disabilities) good youth care and more. In short, the advisory council identifies, advises and monitors.

Who are we?

The Advisory Council consists of the members listed below, each representing a particular target group.

  • Nanda Ox-van de Weg (Haelen): Family caregiver and member of the poverty working group.
  • Har Parren (Grathem): Village Councils.
  • Bert van de Goor (Heythuysen): Citizens with mental vulnerability and their talents.
  • Kitty Kloth-Smeets (Baexem): Foundation Supporting Senior Associations Leudal.
  • Gerard Jochems (Horn): Mentally handicapped and extra attention to Youth Care from participation in parent panel middle Limburg.
  • Harry Jutten (Horn): Elders.
  • Thea Schrurs (Kelpen-Oler): the women's organizations in Leudal, ZijActief Limburgs. Women's Network, the Limburg Catholic Women's Association.
  • Peter Vennekens (Neer): FNV Local Midden-Limburg.
  • Jan Roumen (Panheel): Caregivers, also secretary/treasurer.
  • Arno Gubbels (Ittervoort): independent chairman.
